I love this part in the book. The way it is described is beautiful. Although I have to admit, I was a little let down in the movie when they showed Ithilien. It seemed so dry and desolate and not at all lush forests and grass like in the book. I was pleased with Henneth Annun. It was beautiful on film, just as I had imagined it to be. Also, I don't like the portrayal of Faramir in the films. I say this because in the book, Faramir was so pure and good and true that he wasn't at all tempted by the ring. But in the movie he is so easily corrupted, IMHO.

Faramir and Elrod, my favourite characters. So I'm guessing it does mean a lot. Ithilien and the POOL.
Did that make sense?
